    1. Fill a crock pot with distilled water.
    2. Put your plant material into it.
    3. Cook on the low setting for about 24 hours.
    4. Open the crockpot and allow it to sit for seven days.
    5. The surface of the water will be oily after a while. Collect this oil and put it in a container
    6. Keep the crock pot covered with a thin cheesecloth for about a week to let all the water evaporate

    The oil will last for about a year if prepared and stored properly.

    Oil Extraction Method 2

    1. Grind the plant material or herbs
    2. Put this in a cotton or linen bag
    3. Use some thread to tie it shut and place the pag in a pot of distilled water
    4. Bring to a boil and simmer for 24 hours.
    5. Collect the oil from the water surface, squeezing the bag if needed
    6. Cover with a thin cloth and allow it to sit for about a week to let all the water evaporate

    The oil will last for about a year if prepared and stored properly.

    Oil Extraction Method 3

    1. Take a large glass bottle and fill it almost to the brim with an oil (olive, almond, jojoba or canola)
    2. Stuff as much of your chosen plant material into this bottle
    3. Cover the bottle tightly with the cap and let it sit in a dark, cool place for one day
    4. Shake it every now and then.
    5. After three days have passed, strain using a cheesecloth and put the liquid in a glass container.
    6. The oil will have the scent of the plant material. If not, place more plant material in the bottle and repeat the process.

    The oil will last for about six months if stored properly.

    Oil Extraction Method 4

    1. Take half an ounce of your plant material and stir it into 2 cups of oil (either olive, almond, jojoba or canola)
    2. Cook the mixture in a crock pot on low for about six hours.
    3. Afterwards strain the mixture using a thin muslin or cheesecloth and put the strained liquid in a glass container.

    The oil will last for about six months if stored properly.

    Oil Extraction Method 5

    1. Take 1 Tablespoon of your ground up plant material, about 1/2 cup of oil (olive, almond, jojoba, or canola), and 1/2 teaspoon of white vinegar.
    2. Put all three in a small bottle and cap it
    3. Place the bottle in a warm place where it’s sunny
    4. Shake the mixture twice a day
    5. Afterwards strain the mixture using a thin muslin or cheesecloth and put the strained liquid in a glass container.

    The oil will last for about 6 months if stored properly.

    Oil Extraction Method 6

    1. Take a bottle of rubbing alcohol
    2. Place the ground up plant material in the bottle and let it soak for about two weeks
    3. Cap the bottle to avoid the alcohol from evaporating
    4. After two weeks, open the bottle and pour out the contents into a wide mouthed open container and allow alcohol to evaporate
    5. Collect the oil leftover and put it in a glass container

    The oil will last for about six months if stored properly. The oil extracted through this method is not safe for cooking or consumption.
